Job Summary
Job Title: Cloud Operations Engineer\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nRole Description: The Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing the infrastructure and operations of our AWS Cloud services. This role requires expertise in cloud services, containerization technologies, AWS PaaS Services, CI/CD processes, scripting languages, version control systems, and patch management. The Engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of Cloud services, while also implementing cost management and optimization strategies. This position demands strong technical acumen, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities:\\\\r\\\\nManage and optimize AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases, to ensure high availability and performance.\\\\r\\\\nDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployment processes.\\\\r\\\\nUse Terraform, Python, and other scripting languages to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.\\\\r\\\\nImplement and maintain version control systems like Git to facilitate collaboration and track changes.\\\\r\\\\nTroubleshoot and debug issues within AWS Cloud services, creating effective monitoring and logging solutions at scale.\\\\r\\\\nPerform Linux and Windows systems administration and patching tasks to ensure infrastructure stability and security.\\\\r\\\\nDevelop and implement cost management and optimization strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational costs.\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nRequirements:\\\\r\\\\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.\\\\r\\\\n7+ years of experience as a Cloud Ops Engineer or Cloud Infra Engineer.\\\\r\\\\nProficiency in AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, PaaS services (e.g., EMR, RDS), and databases (e.g., SQL, Aurora Postgres, Postgres SQL, MongoDB).\\\\r\\\\nExperience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.\\\\r\\\\nExpertise in CI/CD technologies and process design, including YAML pipelines.\\\\r\\\\nProficiency in Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.\\\\r\\\\nStrong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to create effective monitoring and logging solutions at scale.\\\\r\\\\nExperience in Linux and Windows systems administration.\\\\r\\\\nExperience in creating cost management and optimization strategies.\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nMandatory Certifications:\\\\r\\\\nAmazon Certified Solution Architect\\\\r\\\\nKubernetes Certified\\\\r\\\\nTerraform Certified\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nSoft Skills:\\\\r\\\\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\\\\r\\\\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\\\\r\\\\nEffective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.\\\\r\\\\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.\\\\r\\\\nContinuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology. 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Ops Engineer or Cloud Infra Engineer. Proficiency in AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, PaaS services (e.g., EMR, RDS), and databases (e.g., SQL, Aurora Postgres, Postgres SQL, MongoDB). Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker. Expertise in CI/CD technologies and process design, including YAML pipelines. Proficiency in Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
