Job Summary

SAP Inhouse Consultant for Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) to join our India‑based SAP Application Management Services team.

This role focuses on ensuring stable operations, driving enhancements, supporting finance transformation initiatives, and enabling continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling processes in an international environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring End-to-end business operations (L3 support) for SAP Source-to-Pay (S2P)SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) & SAP Market-to-Offer (M2O) processes
  • Analyze, process and resolve incidents, problems and service requests in the SAP FI/CO environment 
  • Prepare functional and technical specifications and maintain solution, process and test documentation 
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions 
  • Plan and execute change requests, enhancements and continuous improvements for FI/CO processes 
  • Ensuring all changes are executed within a validated, GxP‑regulated SAP environment, including documentation of test evidence, risk assessments and quality approvals
  • Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities as well as daily financial operations 
  • Configure and enhance SAP FI/CO components (FI‑GL, FI‑AR, FI‑AP, FI‑AA, CO‑CCA, CO‑IO, CO‑PA, etc.) 
  • Advise business stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities, standardization and Clean‑Core‑aligned solutions 
  • Collaborate with ABAP and Fiori development teams for enhancements, bug‑fixes and technical implementations 

Skill Requirements

  • > 5 years of experience in SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO), 
    incl. > 1 year of 
    experience working in a validated GxP SAP environment with strong focus on documentation, CSV/CSA & regulatory compliance
  • Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA FI/CO simplifications and Fiori
  • Basic understanding of ABAP/4, ABAP OO, and SAP Fiori concepts, enhancements, and debugging
  • Experience in agile and classical project delivery models
  • Experience as a (sub) project manager is desirable
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
  • Ability to quickly understand complex processes and issues, with strong communication skills
  • Experience in business consulting, demand management, and service provider management is an advantage
  • Knowledge and initial experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is desirable
