As Solution Architect for a leading pharmaceutical company’s US web platform, you will lead the technical design and delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant web solutions. You'll bridge business needs with technical implementation across a decoupled, enterprise-grade Drupal CMS platform hosted on Acquia Cloud. This role requires deep architectural insight into Drupal, its module system, content modeling, multisite configurations, and frontend integration strategies with React.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end solutions centered on the decoupled Drupal CMS platform hosted on Acquia Cloud, with React/Next.js frontends.
  • Define and implement best practices for multisite management, configuration synchronization, and component versioning within Drupal.
  • Drive technical execution of accessibility, SEO, privacy, compliance, and performance optimization requirements based on architectural governance and pharma-specific standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX teams, QA, and global stakeholders to ensure the architecture supports flexibility, maintainability, and regulatory alignment.
  • Lead the technical aspects of platform evolution, including domain and DNS configuration, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
  • Champion scalability, modular design, reusability of components, and technical governance across a network of 50+ branded web properties.

Skill Requirements

  • Experience with Acquia Cloud, Acquia Cloud Next, and associated devops and governance tooling.
  • Solid understanding of decoupled CMS patterns and integration with modern JS frameworks (React/Next.js).
  • Proven track record in regulated industries, with emphasis on accessibility, compliance, and privacy.

Your role will be central to the success of our Client, a global pharmaceutical company, and its digital transformation path, leveraging Drupal at scale to support a large portfolio of brand sites while ensuring performance, regulatory compliance, and a consistent user experience across the ecosystem.
