Technical Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Ignition Developer with deep expertise in the Ignition SCADA platform to design, develop, and implement manufacturing applications including Track & Trace, OEE, and KPI dashboards. The role focuses on enabling real-time manufacturing visibility and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ignition Application Development
  • Develop SCADA applications using Ignition Perspective and Vision modules.
  • Configure tags, UDTs, historian and alarm notifications.
  • Manufacturing Solutions (OEE / Track & Trace)
  • Develop OEE systems for performance monitoring and downtime analysis.
  • Design Track & Trace and genealogy solutions.
  • Build KPI dashboards for manufacturing insights.
  • SCADA Integration & Connectivity
  • Integrate Ignition with PLCs, SCADA, MES and ERP systems.
  • Use OPC UA, MQTT and Modbus TCP/IP protocols.
  • Data & Reporting
  • Develop reports and dashboards for KPI and production analysis.
  • Lifecycle Delivery
  • Support design, development, testing (FAT/SAT), deployment and support.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Ignition 7.x/8.x platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Perspective, Vision, Python scripting and SQL.
  • Experience in OEE, Track & Trace and SCADA application development.

Certifications

  • Ignition Gold Certification (Preferred)

    Education

    Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science or related).
