Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AI Infrastructure, High Performance Computing (HPC), Container Platforms, and Hybrid Cloud technologies. The individual will be responsible for architecting, designing, integrating, and delivering enterprise-scale AI, HPC, and container-based solutions that align with customer business objectives and technical requirements.
The role focuses on HPE Private Cloud AI, Enterprise AI Factory solutions, HPC platforms, Kubernetes-based container ecosystems, and hybrid cloud architectures. The architect will serve as the technical design authority, trusted advisor, and solution leader for customer engagements, ensuring scalable, secure, high-performance, and future-ready infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Architecture Governance
- Serve as the lead solution architect and technical design authority for AI, HPC, and container platform engagements.
- Develop technology roadmaps, architecture strategies, and scalability plans aligned with business goals.
- Provide delivery assurance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and architectural governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead complex technical initiatives from requirements gathering through design, deployment, and operationalization.
Solution Planning & Design
- Design and architect end-to-end AI infrastructure, HPC, and container platform solutions.
- Assess business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable architectures.
- Design solutions using Kubernetes platforms, OpenShift, Rancher, HPC schedulers, and hybrid cloud technologies.
- Integrate AI, DevOps, MLOps, virtualization, and cloud-native technologies into enterprise solutions.
- Identify technical constraints, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
Opportunity Assessment & Pre-Sales Support
- Lead responses to RFPs, RFIs, technical proposals, and customer solution workshops.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and validate technical feasibility, performance, and business value.
- Assess customer environments and recommend optimized architectures leveraging HPE, NVIDIA, Red Hat, SUSE, and open-source technologies.
- Act as a consultative advisor to advance customer opportunities.
Innovation & Technology Strategy
- Stay current with advancements in AI/ML infrastructure, HPC, cloud, containerization, Kubernetes, DevOps, and security technologies.
- Develop best practices, reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and technical assets.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate them into solution strategies where appropriate.
Customer Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers.
- Translate complex technical concepts into business value and executive-level recommendations.
- Align AI and infrastructure solutions with customer transformation and operational goals.
- Drive customer success through technical leadership and solution excellence.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, storage, cloud, AI/ML, DevOps, and project teams.
- Mentor consultants and architects, support technical communities, and contribute to innovation forums and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Lead cross-functional technical discussions and foster engineering excellence.
Skill Requirements
AI Infrastructure & HPC
- Strong expertise in HPC architectures and workload schedulers such as:
- Slurm
- Altair PBS Pro
- Experience with HPC cluster management platforms:
- HPE Cluster Management (HPCM)
- NVIDIA Base Command Manager (BCM)
- Bright Cluster Manager
- Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure platforms and Enterprise AI Factory architectures.
- Performance tuning, health monitoring, and optimization of HPC environments.
- Experience with GPU-enabled infrastructure and enterprise AI deployments.
2. Containerization & Kubernetes Platforms
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Docker

- Experience with at least two of:
- CNCF Kubernetes
- Red Hat OpenShift

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing AI Infrastructure, HPC, Container Platform, and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
