Job Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Manufacturing to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Siemens Teamcenter solutions across product development and manufacturing domains. The role requires deep expertise in Teamcenter PLM, manufacturing business processes, enterprise integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.

The Solution Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, product owners, engineering teams, and implementation partners to define scalable and future-ready PLM solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Teamcenter PLM implementations, upgrades, and transformations.
  • Define PLM architecture roadmaps aligned with enterprise digital engineering and manufacturing strategies.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Teamcenter solutions.
  • Create solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical design documents.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance.

Manufacturing Process Transformation

  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing business processes across:
    • Manufacturing Process Planning
    • MBOM Management
    • BOP (Bill of Process)
    • Manufacturing Change Management
    • Production Engineering
    • Manufacturing Resource Management
    • Digital Manufacturing
  • Drive harmonization of engineering and manufacturing data across the product lifecycle.

Teamcenter Manufacturing Solution Expertise

  • Architect solutions leveraging:
    • Teamcenter Manufacturing
    • Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP)
    • Easy Plan
    • Manufacturing Resource Library (MRL)
    • Change Management
    • Product Structure Management
    • Active Workspace
    • Classification
    • Workflow Management
    • Schedule Manager

Enterprise Integration Architecture

  • Design integrations between Teamcenter and:
    • SAP ERP/S4HANA
    • MES Systems
    • CAD Applications (NX, Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks)
    • MOM Platforms
    • Supply Chain Systems
    • Quality Management Systems
    • IoT and Industry 4.0 Platforms
  • Define integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and data synchronization strategies.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership to functional consultants, developers, and project teams.
  • Review solution designs, configuration approaches, and customization requirements.
  • Guide development teams on Teamcenter best practices and architecture standards.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and design governance sessions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with business leaders, manufacturing SMEs, PO, and IT stakeholders.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and solution discussions.
  • Present architecture recommendations and technology roadmaps to senior management.
  • Manage customer expectations and architectural risks.

  • Strong experience in manufacturing-focused PLM transformation programs.
  • Experience with Teamcenter Manufacturing modules and SAP integration.
