Job Summary

HCLTech's AI-enabled assessment ecosystem (Optimax, CAST, Atlas, and related platforms) is used across engagements to accelerate data gathering, automate technical discovery, and strengthen the accuracy of application portfolio insights. This role is expected to work hands-on with these tools as part of day-to-day delivery:

  • Validate AI-generated business capability maps and application-to-process mappings (from Optimax, CAST, and Atlas) against actual domain processes and business-unit structures
  • Review and correct AI-assigned business criticality, usage, and functional-fit tags for applications within the assigned domain
  • Provide domain sign-off on data gathering questionnaires and workshop scripts used to feed the AI assessment tools with accurate business context
  • Flag domain-specific nuances, exceptions, or terminology that AI tools may misclassify, and work with the Assessment Lead / tool teams to correct them
  • Partner with business stakeholders to fill data gaps that AI-based discovery cannot resolve on its own (e.g., undocumented business processes, informal system usage)
  • Support translation of AI tool outputs into business-friendly narratives for domain stakeholder presentations

Key Responsibilities

  • Map application portfolio to business value stream and functional domain, validating and enriching AI-generated mappings
  • Identify current functional risks/challenges and portfolio improvement opportunities within the domain
  • Present domain-validated analysis, findings, and recommendations arising from the AI-enabled assessment
  • Enhance operational efficiency through portfolio functional consolidation recommendations, supported by improved, validated information
  • Leverage business knowledge and prior experience to deliver a well-argued, structured plan to address portfolio optimization based on domain issue identification and comprehensive analysis
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve domain-specific information requirements arising from AI tool data gaps
  • Submit domain-validated deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Conduct quantitative analyses to generate functional insights about application portfolio alignment and value creation opportunities
