Job Description: Solution Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to provide end-to-end technical architecture and solution guidance across multiple applications built using Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and .NET, hosted on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate should combine strong hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership, working collaboratively across multiple development teams to resolve complex technical challenges, define scalable solutions, drive the technology roadmap, and accelerate the adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand existing application architectures, technology stacks, integrations, dependencies, and technical constraints.
• Design and recommend scalable, secure, maintainable, and cloud-ready technical solutions across multiple applications.
• Provide architectural and technical guidance for applications built using Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and .NET.
• Collaborate closely with developers, technical leads, DevOps teams, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Perform technical assessments and provide recommendations for modernization, refactoring, integration, performance, and scalability.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment between current application architecture and future technology objectives.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership during solution design and implementation.
• Establish architectural standards and promote engineering best practices across application teams.
• Work with Microsoft Azure services and provide cloud architecture guidance for application development, integration, deployment, and modernization.
• Identify opportunities to introduce AI and GenAI capabilities into applications and engineering processes.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted software engineering, including areas such as code generation, code modernization, technical documentation, testing, and developer productivity.
• Conduct architecture and solution reviews to ensure technical consistency across applications.
• Mentor development teams and support them in making appropriate technology and architecture decisions.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core technologies.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and distributed application architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud-native solution architecture.
• Experience in application modernization and defining technical roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with AI/GenAI-enabled application development and AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Exposure to GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools would be highly desirable.

Preferred Profile

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, with significant experience in solution architecture or technical architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise applications using a combination of Python, React, Node.js, .NET, and Azure.
• Experience leading modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
