Job Summary
SAP Inhouse Consultant for Asset, Safety & Projects (PM/PS/EHS) to join our India‑based SAP Application Management Services team.
This role focuses on ensuring stable global assets, maintenance, project and safety operations, driving enhancements, supporting digital transformation in maintenance and project execution, and enabling continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM), Project System (PS) and EHS processes in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure end‑to‑end business operations (L3 support) for SAP Schedule‑to‑Fulfill (S2F), Forecast‑to‑Plan (F2P) and Idea‑to‑Product (I2P) manufacturing processes Analyze, process and resolve incidents, problems and service requests in the SAP PM/PS/EHS environment Create functional and technical specifications and maintain solution, process and safety‑related documentation Perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures for asset and project‑related system issues Plan and implement change requests, enhancements and continuous improvements for PM, PS and EHS processes Ensuring all changes are executed within a validated, GxP‑regulated SAP environment, including documentation of test evidence, risk assessments and quality approvals Configure and enhance SAP PM, PS and EHS components including technical objects, maintenance notifications and orders, preventative maintenance plans, WBS elements, network activities, budgets, cost settlements, incident management, and compliance processes Ensure seamless integration with PP, MM/(e)WM, SD, FI/CO, Quality Management and external maintenance or project tools Advise business stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, Project
Skill Requirements
- > 5 years of experience in PM/PS/EHS across maintenance, projects & compliance,
incl. > 1 year of experience working in a validated GxP SAP environment with strong focus on documentation, CSV/CSA & regulatory compliance - Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA PM/PS/EHS simplifications and Fiori
- Basic understanding of ABAP/4, ABAP OO, and SAP Fiori concepts, enhancements, and debugging
- Experience in agile and classical project delivery models
- Experience as a (sub) project manager is desirable
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
- Ability to quickly understand complex processes and issues, with strong communication skills
- Experience in business consulting, demand management, and service provider management is an advantage
- Knowledge and initial experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is desirable
