Job Summary

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics or related discipline
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Semiconductor FAB / Field Service / Equipment Engineering
  • Proven experience in tool start-up, process qualification, and sustaining support
  • Strong communication skills (English + customer-facing experience)
  • Experience working in global fab environments and cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong expertise in one or more modules:
    • Lithography / Dry Etch / Thin Film / Diffusion / Metrology / Wet
  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • Process qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and tool acceptance procedures
    • Equipment performance parameters and process interactions
    • Advanced troubleshooting (hardware + process level)
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Recipe setup, calibration, and process tuning
    • Fault diagnostics across subsystems (mechanical, electrical, vacuum, gas, RF, optics etc.)
  • Good understanding of:
    • SPC, yield impact, and process stability
    • Software interfaces, alarms, logs, and system diagnostics tools

Added Advantage:

  • Experience working with OEMs or leading semiconductor fabs
  • Knowledge of process integration and yield improvement initiatives
  • Exposure to customer acceptance testing and audits

Roles & Responsibilities

Process Qualification & Tool Release

  • Lead tool qualification activities (IQ / OQ / PQ) post start-up
  • Execute and support process tuning, calibration, and recipe validation
  • Ensure tool meets performance specifications before handover to production

Process & Equipment Stabilization

  • Monitor and improve tool stability and performance metrics
  • Support initial production ramp and yield stabilization
  • Identify and mitigate process variations and equipment drifts

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as technical interface with customer engineering teams
  • Support customer during:
    • Tool acceptance
    • Process qualification milestones
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and best practices

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives to improve:
    • Tool uptime and reliability
    • Process performance and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for:
    • Standardization
    • Checklist optimization
    • Best practice documentation

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain:
    • Qualification reports
    • Process validation records

Troubleshooting logs and RCA reports
