Position Summary
HCLTech is seeking an experienced Finance Lead (Solution Architect) with 8–10 years of SAP implementation experience to lead SAP Finance transformation initiatives across Greenfield, Brownfield and SAP S/4HANA programs for steel manufacturing clients. The role will own solution architecture, business process transformation, governance and end-to-end delivery of Finance solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead SAP Finance solution architecture for enterprise transformation programs.
• Drive business blueprinting, process harmonization and target operating model definition.
• Design end-to-end solutions across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Treasury, FSCM, Product Costing, Material Ledger, COPA and Group Reporting.
• Lead Greenfield and Brownfield implementation projects including assessment, design, build, testing, cutover and hypercare.
• Define finance integration architecture with MM, SD, PP, PM, QM, PS and SuccessFactors.
• Conduct executive workshops and provide strategic recommendations.
• Govern data migration, reconciliation and financial controls.
• Lead solution reviews, quality assurance and architecture governance.
• Manage offshore/onshore teams and mentor consultants.
Steel Industry Expertise
• Deep understanding of steel manufacturing value chain including raw materials, coke ovens, blast furnaces, steel melting shops, rolling mills, dispatch and distribution.
• Experience in production costing, by-product accounting, inventory valuation and profitability analysis.
• Knowledge of integrated steel plant operations and finance reporting requirements.
Technical Competencies
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Architecture.
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Central Finance and Group Reporting.
• Material Ledger and Actual Costing.
• Product Costing and COPA.
• FSCM, Treasury and Cash Management.
• Financial Closing Cockpit and reporting solutions.
• SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance or equivalent. MBA/CA preferred. SAP S/4HANA Finance certification highly desirable.
