Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead payroll design workshops and solution discussions.
  • Analyze and document current payroll processes, configurations, and customizations.
  • Review and optimize payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, and payroll rules.
  • Support payroll consolidation and standardization initiatives.
  • Define business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Coordinate payroll testing activities including SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll Runs, and Deployment Validation.
  • Support payroll reconciliation and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support transition activities.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of SAP Payroll experience.
  • Strong experience with SAP HCM Payroll.
  • SAP International payroll template
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Payroll schemas
    • PCR development and troubleshooting
    • Wage type configuration
    • Retroactive accounting
    • Payroll posting and finance reconciliation
    • Statutory payroll compliance
  • Strong payroll testing and payroll validation experience.
  • Experience supporting global payroll implementations.

Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders at all levels

Other Requirements

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting mining, manufacturing, or global organizations.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll.
  • Experience supporting multi-country payroll environments.

Knowledge of payroll integrations and downstream interfaces
