Job Summary

"Experience

 

3–5 years of SAP Basis administration experience with exposure to SAP cloud migration, HANA administration, S/4HANA conversion, BW conversion, SAP SaaS products, and BTP administration/support.

 

Core SAP Basis Skills

SAP Basis administration for ECC, S/4HANA, BW, BW/4HANA, BTP, NetWeaver ABAP/Java, Fiori, Gateway, Web Dispatcher, PI/PO and Solution Manager.

System monitoring, start/stop, profile maintenance, background job monitoring, RFC, ICM, work process, dump and log analysis.

Transport management, client copy, system copy, system refresh, kernel upgrade, support package and SAP Notes implementation support.

HANA administration including monitoring, backup/recovery checks, tenant database operations and basic performance troubleshooting.

Incident, service request, change and problem management as per ITIL processes.

Cloud Fundamentals knowledge

 

Additional Skills – Upgrade, Migration, S/4HANA, SaaS and BTP

Exposure to SAP cloud migration projects, including RISE with SAP and hyperscaler platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud or SAP Data Center.

Support SAP migration activities such as pre-checks, post-checks, backup/restore validation, system copy, export/import and cutover execution.

Working knowledge of SUM, DMO, SWPM and Maintenance Planner for upgrades, migrations and conversion activities.

Exposure to S/4HANA conversion and BW/BW4HANA conversion technical activities such as readiness checks, add-on validation and post-conversion checks.

Basic BTP administration exposure including subaccounts, entitlements, role collections, destinations, Cloud Connector and connectivity troubleshooting.

Exposure to SAP SaaS products such as SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, SAC, Datasphere or IBP from connectivity, identity and support perspective.

Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM and Solution Manager for monitoring and operational support.

 

Good to Have

RISE with SAP onboarding exposure.

Cloud Connector troubleshooting experience.

Basic understanding of SAML, OAuth, SSL/TLS certificates, SNC and SAProuter.
