| Job Ref: Job Title: Identity Engineer Department: Authentication & Directory Services Reporting to: Iqbal Mohammed Location: Mumbai Start: TBC Rates: Temporary (CWR) Overview: We are seeking an experienced Identity Engineer with experience across the non-Microsoft technology stack including ForgeRock/Ping to join Authentication and Directory Services Engineering function. The position focuses on designing and delivering enterprise-scale device management and identity. The successful candidate will work within the Authentication and Directory Services team and must demonstrate proven expertise in identity and security solution implementation Role / Principal Accountabilities: - Engineer solutions for Authentication / Directory Services and related components - Design and implement global identity solutions for hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) - Collaborate effectively within a multi-platform global engineering team - Present technical solutions and recommendations to management stakeholders - Adhere to established change control procedures and governance frameworks - Contribute to the continuous improvement of identity and access management practices Skills & Experience Required: - Demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a global team, and on their own when required. - Strong oral and written communication. - Enthusiastic, eager and personable. - Ability to cope well under pressure. Essentails: Technical Expertise: - Subject-matter expert knowledge PingDS LDAP or similar non Microsoft enterprise directory service - Hands-on experience with enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL) including o file system o process control/strace o authentication/PAM stack o packages o networking/tcpdump - Proficiency in developing automation scripts and scripted solutions to drive operational efficiencies to include proficiency in Bash and Python and familiarity with Perl scripts. - Experience of load balanced applications including o Global traffic management o SNAT o Persistence - Experience with Ansible / Ansible playbooks / Terraform Professional Skills: - Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team - Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence presenting to senior management Job Specification - Self-motivated with a collaborative team-player approach - Enthusiastic, personable, and professional demeanour - Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Strong adherence to change control procedures and operational discipline Desirables: - Proven experience implementing and managing MIT Kerberos authentication infrastructure - Experience with multi-factor authentication platforms (Duo, RSA) - Strong knowledge of certificate management and secure communications. - Exposure to Grafana monitoring - Knowledge of regulatory requirements (PRA, FCA) relating to operational resilience Extra Notes (if applicable): Please contact us if you are visiting our offices and require any form of personal assistance or physical adaptations to be provided for your appointment.
