Job Summary

The Technical Lead - 2D Drawing and Detailing is responsible for overseeing technology management within projects, providing technical guidance and innovative solutions to ensure successful work completion. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing team capabilities, promoting best practices, and ensuring compliance with established processes, ultimately driving the organization towards its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Technical Guidance And Solutions By Defining, Advocating, And Implementing Best Practices And Standards For 2D Drawing And Detailing, Ensuring High-Quality Outputs From The Team.
2. Develop And Mentor Team Members In The Use Of Cad Software And Detailing Techniques, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Overall Productivity.
3. Ensure Compliance With Engineering Processes In The Assigned Module And Participate In Technical Discussions And Reviews As A Technical Consultant, Evaluating Feasibility Studies, Assessing Technical Alternatives, And Analyzing Technical Risks.
4. Prepare And Submit Comprehensive Status Reports To Minimize Project Exposure And Risks, Facilitating The Resolution Of Escalations And Promoting Transparency In Project Progress.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency In 2D Drawing And Detailing Software (E.G., Autocad, Drafting Tools)
2. Strong Understanding Of Engineering Change Management Processes
3. Solid Knowledge Of Documentation Standards Within Engineering Projects
4. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Cad Technician, Autocad Certified Professional, Or Relevant Engineering Design Certifications.

Minimum Salary (US):  81000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
