Job Summary
▪︎ 5+ years of professional experience in embedded system development. ▪︎ Solid programming experience in C, or C++. Objective C desired ▪︎ Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting of embedded systems ▪︎ Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems ▪︎ Analytical skills to process volume data using tools like Excel / Matlab / JMP. ▪︎ Experience in interpreting schematics, and in debugging hardware using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers, and interfaces such as JTAG, SPI, I2C. ▪︎ Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review ▪︎ Excellent written and interpersonal skills; clear communication with diverse teams. ▪︎ Willingness and ability to travel to Asia is required
Key Responsibilities
2. Advocate and implement best practices in BIOS automation, including coding standards, test case creation, and documentation within the team.
3. Facilitate BIOS validation by applying tools such as TestStand and custom automation scripts for functional, regression, and compliance testing.
4. Oversee process compliance for BIOS automation modules, ensuring alignment with project requirements and organizational standards.
5. Participate in technical discussions and feasibility studies to evaluate automation solutions, tooling options, and architecture best practices relevant to BIOS projects.
6. Prepare and submit project status reports to manage risks and communicate progress, addressing technical escalations as needed.
Skill Requirements
2. Solid understanding of BIOS validation processes and tools, including UEFI, TestStand, and related automation frameworks.
3. Solid knowledge of coding standards, test case design, and documentation in automation projects.
4. Solid problem-solving abilities in technical feasibility and risk assessment within BIOS projects.
5. Solid communication skills for technical guidance and status reporting.
