Job Summary

The Technical Lead for Embedded Linux plays a pivotal role in managing technology projects focused on embedded systems. This position is responsible for providing technical guidance, advocating best practices, and implementing coding standards within the team. The Technical Lead will drive the enhancement of team capabilities, ensuring process compliance and participating in critical technical discussions to deliver high-quality solutions that align with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Technical Leadership By Defining, Advocating, And Implementing Best Practices And Coding Standards In Embedded Linux Development, Yocto Build Systems, And U-Boot Configurations, Ensuring High-Quality Outputs From The Team.
2. Develop And Mentor Team Members To Enhance Their Technical Skills In Areas Such As Bsp Board Bring-Up And Linux Kernel Customization, Fostering Increased Productivity And Innovation.
3. Ensure Process Compliance Within The Assigned Module By Participating In Feasibility Studies, Assessing Technical Alternatives, And Providing Recommendations On Architecture Best Practices, While Identifying Technical Risks And Contributing To Project Estimations.
4. Prepare And Present Detailed Status Reports To Stakeholders, Aiming To Minimize Project Exposure And Risks While Effectively Managing Escalations In A Timely Manner.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Embedded Linux, Including Kernel Development And Device Driver Integration.
2. Proficient In Yocto Project For Custom Linux Distribution Creation And Management.
3. Solid Experience With Bootloaders Such As U-Boot, Including Configuration And Customization.
4. In-Depth Knowledge Of Board Support Package (Bsp) Development And Board Bring-Up Procedures.
5. Familiarity With Version Control Systems (E.G., Git) And Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Ci/Cd) Practices.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Embedded Systems Engineer (Cese), Yocto Project Certified Developer.
