Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual hardware test equipment. Create test plans, procedures, and test specifications for electronic products. Perform functional, environmental, and reliability testing of hardware assemblies. Troubleshoot test equipment and hardware failures to identify root causes. Develop test fixtures, jigs, and custom interfaces for production testing. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product testability. Calibrate and maintain laboratory test instruments. Analyze test data and prepare technical reports. Support production during new product introduction (NPI). Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Experience with LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, or C/C++ for test automation. Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or Ethernet. Experience with boundary scan (JTAG) and functional testing. Understanding of manufacturing test processes (ICT, FCT, Burn-in testing). Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or IPC standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
