Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Network DevOps Engineer to join our team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in developing and architecting reusable, robust, and scalable code, with a strong background in network analysis, test automation, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and architect robust, scalable, and reusable code for network infrastructure and automation.
  • Design and implement connectivity testing frameworks for automated testing across various network projects.
  • Develop serverless testing solutions for environments where direct server access is limited.
  • Create and expose REST APIs to facilitate data exchange with UI components.
  • Implement data visualization tools, such as bandwidth performance and heatmap for beamforming.
  • Develop features to highlight critical alerts and crashes for quick resolution.
  • Optimize test execution time through offline log collection and efficient data management.
  • Automate data purging and log maintenance from cloud VMs and storage systems.
  • Contribute to open-source projects related to network connectivity and AI/ML platforms.
  • Develop in-house network analysis and test automation tools for network switches, supporting continuous integration and regression testing.
  • Automate build testing, test plan execution, status monitoring, and result reporting.
  • Design and implement distributed architectures to handle high volumes of simultaneous connections and pending tests.

 

Skill Requirements

  • Programming Skills: Python, Ansible, Shell Script
  • Database: Postgres, MSSQL, SQLite
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

  • Develop microservices and containerize applications (UI, API server, File server, Worker) using Docker.
  • Automate deployment, backup, and restore processes on private cloud VMs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
