Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION SIMULATION & OPTIMIZATION • Support factories to use simulation, optimization, and data analysis models as ongoing decision-making tools • Build reliable simulation, optimization and data analysis models and animations. • Provide recommendations to Unit management based on model results. • Provide necessary coaching and training to factory engineers in using models, performing sensitivity analyses, and interpreting simulation results. • Understand paradigm, assumptions, and limitations of minimum 2 tools [Plant Simulation, FlexSim, Anylogic ] in the area of Discrete Event Simulation, Optimization and Data Analysis Software Portfolio. • Understand the problem/objective statements of the factory and translate those into logical Simulation, optimization Models • Experience in end-to-end development of supply chain navigators and distribution systems • Develop simulation models by applying optimization techniques, integrating machine learning, supporting the development of external scripts, enhancing visualization, and automating key parts of the simulation process • Work with the team to integrate machine learning models into existing simulations to improve prediction accuracy and model decision-making. • Develop predictive models and data-driven insights to enhance simulation results and guide optimization efforts. • Integrate machine learning techniques to adaptively optimize simulation outcomes based on real-world data. • Assist in the integration of simulation results with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to provide real-time insights into simulation outputs. • Support the creation of interactive dashboards and visual reports to communicate simulation results and insights to stakeholders. • Enhance visualization techniques to clearly present simulation data, optimization results, and machine learning insights. • Develop automated workflows for report generation, ensuring key performance metrics and optimization results are automatically collected and formatted for stakeholders. • Assist in generating reports that communicate simulation insights, including statistical analyses, optimization results, and machine learning-driven recommendations. • Automate the process of updating and sharing reports and results to keep stakeholders informed. • Collaborate with simulation developers to understand their technical needs and provide the necessary support, including writing scripts and implementing optimizations. • Provide technical support for troubleshooting, debugging, and improving simulation model workflows. • Maintain organized documentation on external scripts, optimization methodologies, and machine learning integrations to assist future development. Must Skills • Simulation & Optimization Software: Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, FlexSim • Simulation tool customization : Hands on any of Simtalk, FlexScript , Python, ML • Data Analytics – MS-Excel [VBA Macro], Power BI • Non-Technical skills: Presentation Skills, Critical Thinking, Communication Skills • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure) for simulation and data storage is a plus but not required • Advanced Machine Learning: Experience with advanced reinforcement learning or adaptive simulation mode

3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
