Job Summary

To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.

Lead Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer – IT Retail Domain Role Title: Lead Salesforce Commerce Cloud Expert Experience: 6–8 Years Domain: IT – Retail / E‑commerce Employment Type: Full‑time Role Overview We are seeking a Lead Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer with 6–8 years of hands‑on experience to lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise‑scale retail e‑commerce solutions. The role requires strong technical ownership, experience in leading development teams, and deep understanding of retail business processes and digital commerce platforms. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Leadership Lead end‑to‑end development of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) solutions. Architect and implement scalable, high‑performance storefronts using: SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) ISML JavaScript (server‑side & client‑side) HTML / CSS Define technical standards, best practices, and reusable components. Retail E‑commerce Solution Delivery Own and enhance retail e‑commerce capabilities including: Product catalog and category management Pricing, promotions, coupons, and campaigns Cart, checkout, payments, and order placement Order management, fulfillment, and returns Ensure seamless omnichannel customer experience across web and mobile. Integrations & Architecture Design and implement integrations with: ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM systems Payment gateways and third‑party services Work with REST APIs, OCAPI / SCAPI, and headless commerce patterns. Support performance tuning, security, and scalability requirements. Team Leadership & Delivery Governance Lead and mentor junior and mid‑level SFCC developers. Conduct code reviews and technical design walkthroughs. Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and business stakeholders. Support UAT, production releases, and post‑go‑live stabilization. Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and delivery quality. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills (Mandatory) 6–8 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) development Strong expertise in: SFRA ISML JavaScript HTML / CSS Hands‑on experience with Business Manager configuration Strong understanding of e‑commerce architecture, performance optimization, and security Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and release management Retail IT Expertise Proven experience in Retail IT / E‑commerce platforms Strong understanding of: Retail merchandising and catalog structures Pricing and promotion strategies Order‑to‑fulfillment retail workflows Experience delivering solutions for high‑traffic retail websites Good to Have Experience with OCAPI / SCAPI Exposure to headless commerce architectures Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and personalization Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification Experience working in global retail programs Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to take end‑to‑end technical ownership Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders Mentoring and team‑lead mindset Experience working in agile retail delivery environments Career Growth Opportunity to grow into SFCC Architect / E‑commerce Solution Lead Ownership of Retail digital commerce transformation initiatives Long‑term role in strategic retail platform evolution
