Job Summary

An Enovia 3DX Developer with migration experience is responsible for upgrading, restructuring, and transferring legacy PLM/PDM data (such as CAD files, EBOMs, and MBOMs) into the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform. Roles require strong data mapping, script automation, and SaaS/On-Premise system integration skills

Key Responsibilities

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Migration & Transformation: Extract, map, and transform legacy data (CAD/Non-CAD) into the 3DX environment using tools like XPDMXML, EKL, or custom TCL/MQL scripts.
  • Customization & Enhancement: Develop core Java/J2EE code, Java Program Objects (JPOs), and custom 3DSpace widgets to meet business process requirements.
  • System Integration: Design REST/SOAP APIs to connect Enovia with other enterprise systems like ERP, MES, and CRM.
  • Testing & Validation: Perform data mapping validations, post-processing, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity during system cutovers

Skill Requirements

  • Languages: Core Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, XML.
  • Enovia/3DExperience Tools: MQL (Matrix Query Language), TCL (Tool Command Language), JPO, 3DX Web Services.
  • Platform Knowledge: Experience with 3DSpace, 3DPassport, 3DDashboard, and schema management (types, policies, relationships, attributes).
  • Database: Basic Oracle DB management, SQL queries, and tablespace configuration. 

 

Other Requirements

  • Experience Level: Typically 3 to 10+ years in PLM implementation and customization, specifically on 3DX versions 2019x to 25x.
  • Functional Knowledge: Engineering Central, Change Management, Variant Data Management, and Part/BOM Configuration
