Technical Lead

Job Summary

To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Drupal-based solutions and CMS
  • Architect and implement custom modules, themes, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, business analysts, QA, etc.) to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and best practices through code reviews and mentorship.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Drupal sites for performance and scalability.
  • Stay current with Drupal trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Manage project timelines and provide technical guidance to the development team.
  • Oversee migration and upgrade projects (e.g., Drupal 7/8 to Drupal 9/10).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Drupal development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Drupal 8/9/10 site building, theming, custom module development and CMS
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with Composer, Drush, and other Drupal development tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
