We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to support analysis of enterprise data platforms, focusing on data quality, reconciliation, ETL outputs, and reporting accuracy within IFRS17 or finance data environments.

The role involves analyzing datasets, ETL outputs, logs, and reporting layers to identify data defects, reconciliation gaps, and quality issues, and provide actionable insights to business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data quality and reconciliation analysis across ETL pipelines, reporting outputs, and financial datasets  
  • Analyze sample datasets, ETL outputs, and reconciliation reports to identify data defects, inconsistencies, and anomalies  
  • Review logs, issue history, and ETL outputs to detect:
  • Late validation failures
  • Duplicate records
  • Manual adjustments
  • Exception patterns and quality gaps  
  • Evaluate Power BI mapping extracts and reporting datasets to ensure accurate data representation and alignment with business requirements
  • Support identification of data validation gaps and reconciliation issues in the data processing lifecycle  
  • Prepare analytical summaries, insights, and reports for SMEs and stakeholders to support decision-making  
  • Analyze data volumetrics, trends, and patterns to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities  
  • Collaborate with ETL, finance, actuarial, and reporting teams to resolve data issues and improve data quality  
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) for data-related issues and help track resolution of defects and anomalies  
  • Document findings, data issues, and recommendations for continuous improvement

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

    • Strong expertise in: SQL and data analysis, Data validation and reconciliation techniques
    • Experience working with: ETL outputs and data pipelines, Data logs and issue tracking systems, Power BI / reporting tools
    • Good understanding of: Data quality frameworks, Data lifecycle and transformation processes
    • Experience in: Finance data / Insurance data / Regulatory reporting
    • Exposure to IFRS17 data processing, reconciliation, or reporting is preferred
