About the Role
We are seeking an onsite Project Manager to lead delivery for the ReX program at a leading automotive client. The PM will own day‑to‑day execution, cross‑functional coordination, governance reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication. The role requires strong program cadence discipline, effective risk management, and rigorous execution using the client’s methodology and PM toolset.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Governance
Build and maintain integrated project plans, track milestones and dependencies, and manage schedule changes or recovery actions.
Drive weekly status updates, dashboards, and governance reporting for leadership.
Own risks, issues, and change control processes; ensure timely mitigation and escalation.
Maintain full compliance with project documentation and audit expectations.
Stakeholder & Team Management
Coordinate daily activities across multiple functional groups, business teams, IT groups, and vendors.
Facilitate meetings focused on decision‑making, blockers, and alignment.
Manage onsite–offshore collaboration, task planning, rotations, timesheets, and workload balancing.
Financials & Compliance
Plan and manage project budgets and forecasted spend.
Ensure adherence to client/HCLTech documentation, approval, and compliance requirements.
Methodology & Tools
Execute work according to client PM methodology and reporting standards.
Maintain project portfolio, cost plans, and schedules in the required PM toolset (e.g., Clarity or equivalent).
Align to program governance practices, Agile/SAFe/J‑Flow (where applicable).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
5+ years managing IT projects (Agile and/or Waterfall).
PMP certification or equivalent PM credential.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Experience with enterprise PPM tools (e.g., Clarity).
Ability to work flexible hours to support meetings with Japan‑based teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive or large manufacturing program environments.
Familiarity with SAFe, enterprise Agile, or J‑Flow‑based processes.
Background in PMO, OCM, governance dashboards, or audit readiness.
Success Metrics
On‑time milestone delivery with clear risk and dependency visibility.
Strong, consistent communication across all stakeholders.
Accurate and timely maintenance of schedules, portfolios, and financials in PM tools.
