Description:

Digital Services domain (e.g. DTO Digital Services (legal VGCS)) is looking for a Software Engineer Principal.

The Site & Productivity team consists of team members who are back end developers, front end developers, testers, product owners and scrum master. We have all the competencies in the team to take an idea to development, deploy to production as well as maintain over time. Our ambition is to support the dealer and owner of a machine peace of mind, from an uptime as well a productivity perspective.

We are now looking for a principal full stack developer with excellent analytical skills, great at problem-solving, passionate about technology and who loves developing software applications!

We are looking for you who ensure that you understand how your work is adding value to our customers and are not limited to take on development tasks but also willing to chip in were needed.

In this team we are curious about everything at work and have a “can do” attitude solving our challenges together, making sure to complete each sprint as planned. We would like our new colleague to have this curiosity, drive and being a team player.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software applications in Type script, using Nestjs for our backend development and React for our frontend.
• Work closely and collaborative around UX & design
• Recommend technical solutions based on the understanding of the business and the user flow as well as architecture
• Deploy, operate and maintain our applications including driving continuous improvement for better quality, functionality and cost effectiveness.
• Taking lead in DevOps responsibility based on the schedule which will rotate amongst all developers
• Present/demo solutions to a larger audience, participating in cross team decision forum
• Coaching mindset, can coach and be coached by peers

Competence Profile and Qualifications:
• Track record of being a team player who make commitments and deliver on them
• A University degree in software engineering, computer science or similar education
• Minimum 10 Years’ Experience as Application Developer and or Architect
• Senior in TypeScript, React
• Experience from working with query languages such as GraphQL.
• Experience from working with test frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and test automation.
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
• Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
• If you are fluent in Swedish this is beneficial

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
