Job Summary
This IS System Tech position is a productivity-based role responsible for configuring all employed and non-employed providers accurately and efficiently across various clinical and revenue cycle solutions utilized.
The individual must be available to work normal business hours (Monday through Friday 8-4:30 pm EST). The individual must have previous experience with configuring and maintaining provider data across various clinical and revenue cycle solutions, including but not limited to Cerner. A basic understanding of end-user workflows within the healthcare setting is preferred. The individual preferably has an Associate’s Degree, but at a minimum, must have a high school diploma and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
This role performs data validation via phone and electronic methods with practice managers, providers and members of the care team. Additionally, in this role, the individual must:
- Interact and communicate effectively with end-users, providers, peers, management, vendors, and others
- Possess the ability to articulately communicate, particularly in verbal form
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate diligence and self-direction with productivity
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with precision and accuracy
- Be able to cope effectively with rapidly changing priorities and a continual backlog of work
- Possess the ability to interpret a wide variety of written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask
- Exhibit practical problem solving skills
