Job Summary

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement GE Proficy Plant Applications MES solutions, including Production, Quality, Efficiency, and Tracking modules to support manufacturing operations and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Analyze business and manufacturing requirements, create functional and technical designs, and develop customizations using Proficy MES, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET technologies, and integration frameworks.
  • Integrate GE Proficy MES with enterprise and shop-floor systems such as SAP/ERP, SCADA, Historian, PLCs, OPC, and other manufacturing applications to enable seamless data exchange and end-to-end process visibility.
  • Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and production support activities while ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with manufacturing and quality standards.

Mentor junior developers, participate in solution architecture discussions, conduct code reviews, and support project delivery activities including testing, deployment, documentation, and stakeholder communication

Key Responsibilities

  • 6+ years of MES experience with strong expertise in GE Proficy Plant Applications
  • SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures
  • .NET/C#, Web Services, APIs
  • Manufacturing domain knowledge (Discrete/Process Manufacturing)
  • Integration experience with ERP, SCADA, Historian, and shop-floor systems
