Job Summary

Role : Engineering Manager / Technical Lead – AI Builder & WIN Assessments

We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager / Technical Lead to help shape the future of our AI-powered learning and assessment platforms, AI Builder and WIN Assessments. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from the sidelines. We want a builder, an architect, a mentor, and a leader who can roll up their sleeves and ship products at startup speed.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do

·                  Lead a small, high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced product environment.

  • Own architecture and technical decisions across the entire platform.
  • Design and build AI-powered products that solve real customer problems.
  • Work across the stack, from backend services and APIs to modern front-end experiences.
  • Drive rapid experimentation, MVPs, and production releases.
  • Leverage GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, and emerging technologies to accelerate product innovation.
  • Collaborate directly with product leaders, UX designers, architects, and customers.
  • Create a culture of ownership, engineering excellence, and continuous learning.

Skill Requirements

What We're Looking For

Experience

·                  8+ years of software product engineering experience.

  • Experience leading teams or serving as a technical lead in a startup, product company, or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proven track record of building and shipping products rather than just maintaining them.
  • Comfortable operating in environments where priorities evolve quickly and execution matters.

Must-Have Technical Skills

Polyglot Engineering Mindset

You should be comfortable moving across technologies and choosing the right tool for the problem.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

·                  Java

  • Spring Boot
  • Microservices Architecture
  • React
  • Node.js
  • REST APIs
  • SQL and NoSQL databases

Hands-on experience building applications leveraging:

·                  Generative AI

  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • AI Agents
  • Agentic Workflows
  • RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
  • Prompt Engineering
  • AI-assisted development tools
  • AI-powered product features

We are looking for someone who uses AI to build software, not just someone who has experimented with ChatGPT.

Cloud & DevOps

Experience working with:

·                  Azure and/or AWS

  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
  • Monitoring and observability platforms
