Job Summary

Job Description – Teamcenter Automation EngineerPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Teamcenter Automation Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in Teamcenter installation, deployment, environment management, and automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience setting up and managing Teamcenter environments on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and developing automation scripts to streamline environment management activities and support Teamcenter data migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesTeamcenter Environment ManagementInstall, configure, and deploy Siemens Teamcenter environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production.Perform Teamcenter upgrades, patch deployments, and environment refresh activities.Configure and maintain Teamcenter components such as Web Tier, FSC/FCC, Dispatcher, BMIDE, and Pool Manager.Support deployment and promotion of Teamcenter customizations across environments.Support Teamcenter implementation, upgrade, and migration projects from an environment management perspective.Cloud Infrastructure & Environment SetupSet up and manage Teamcenter environments on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.Provision and maintain cloud resources required for Teamcenter deployments, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable environments.Support environment provisioning, cloning, refresh, backup, and restore activities.Automation & ScriptingDevelop automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, Shell, or PowerShell.Automate deployment, configuration validation, environment provisioning, and routine administrative activities.Develop utilities and tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.Support automation requirements related to Teamcenter deployments and data migration projects.Teamcenter Data Migration SupportSupport Teamcenter data migration initiatives involving data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading activities.Develop scripts for data validation, reconciliation, bulk updates, and migration reporting.Assist in migration testing, issue resolution, and cutover activities.

Skill Requirements

Required Qualifications5–6 years of experience in Teamcenter administration, deployment, environment management, or technical support.Hands-on experience with Teamcenter installation, configuration, and deployment.Experience setting up and managing Teamcenter environments on AWS and/or Azure.Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell.Good understanding of Windows and Linux server administration.Basic understanding of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.Experience supporting Teamcenter migration projects.
