"ANA/SON Senior Python Developer
Job Responsibilities:-
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure components for telecom automation solutions.
- Translate telecom system requirements and technical specifications into well-structured software components and implementation plans.
- Develop clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code by following software engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation while ensuring correctness, maintainability, security, and production readiness.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews, and develop unit and integration tests for implemented features.
- Collaborate closely with telecom system engineers, product managers, QA engineers, and software developers to build scalable, high-performance automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production and staging issues/bugs through systematic debugging and root cause analysis.
- Continuously improve software quality and development productivity by following engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
Skill Requirements
Requirements:-
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, including libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex technical problems into well-defined, manageable tasks and deliver high-quality applications and infrastructure components.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar) to improve development productivity. The ability to write effective prompts and critically evaluate, validate, test, and maintain AI-generated code is highly desirable.
- Strong software development experience in Linux environments (Ubuntu/RHEL). Candidates with development experience primarily limited to Windows environments are not preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB), and large-scale data processing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
Desirable Skills (Preferred or having an added advantage):-
- Experience developing enterprise-scale software for network automation, orchestration, or optimization.
- Knowledge of LTE and/or 5G mobile network architecture and telecom domain concepts.
- Experience developing REST APIs using Flask or similar Python frameworks.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application design.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows, prompt engineering, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience collaborating closely with telecommunications system engineering teams.
