Job Summary
WMS BYRole Summary:The Senior Techno-Functional Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Blue Yonder (BY/JDA) Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring scalable and efficient warehouse operations.Key Responsibilities:Development & Customization:Develop and maintain BY WMS solutions using Java, MOCA commands, Page Builder, and Jasper Reports.Customize workflows for inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes.Write rollout scripts and maintain technical documentation.Integration:Integrate BY WMS with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics) using APIs, EDI, and middleware tools like Dell Boomi or MuleSoft.Collaborate with hardware integration (e.g., RF scanners).Functional Consulting:Translate business requirements into technical solutions.Lead or support end-to-end BY WMS implementations and upgrades.Document interface specifications, functional designs, and data flows.Support & Optimization:Provide Tier 2/3 support for WMS issues.Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues.Train IT and supply chain staff on WMS tools and reports.Collaboration:Work closely with supply chain leadership and offshore support teams.Participate in Agile/DevOps environments and project planning.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.7+ years of software development experience.4+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS.Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.Experience with Java, SQL, .NET, Python, and JDA Integrator.Familiarity with EDI, REST APIs, and system integrations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with Jasper Reports, IBM iSeries, and middleware platforms.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Strong data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, etc
