Job Summary

  • Senior Marketing Automation Expert with 5+ years of hands-on experience, ideally SFMC-focused but able to evaluate the broader marketing technology ecosystem
  • Strong mix of campaign execution + data engineering + architecture
  • Works across IT, Marketing, Product, and DevOps teams
  • Expected time commitment: approximately 75% allocation

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Automation (Core)

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio)
  • Campaign setup: trigger-based & batch journeys
  • Multi-channel orchestration (email + integrations)

AI layer:

  • AI-driven personalization & smart campaigns
  • Predictive send-time optimization & behavior-based triggers

2. Data & Engineering

  • Strong SQL (segmentation, transformation, troubleshooting)
  • Data extensions & data modeling (SFMC)
  • Data pipelines: SFMC ↔ CDP ↔ APIs
  • Integration experience (MuleSoft / API-based architecture)

AI layer:

  • AI-enabled analytics & data exploration
  • Data preparation for AI-driven targeting and insights

3. Platform & Architecture

  • SFMC architecture & governance
  • Automation frameworks (Maestro, ADM, archetypes)
  • API / microservices ecosystem understanding
  • Orchestration engine / rules engine alignment
  • Require broader platform mindset beyond Salesforce, including the ability to assess adjacent marketing automation, data, integration, orchestration, and analytics platforms.

AI layer:

  • Integration with AI-driven decisioning systems (e.g., suggestion engines, next-best-action)
  • Support for intelligent orchestration & automation

4. Operations & Support

  • Campaign monitoring & health checks
  • Error handling & alerting
  • Incident troubleshooting (root cause analysis)
  • Deployment & release coordination
  • Manage and coordinate Indegene delivery activities, including follow-ups, issue resolution, validation of solutions, and quality of outputs
  • Provide consultation and technical guidance to Shri Ajvalia as needed

AI layer:

  • AI-supported monitoring & optimization
  • Data-driven performance insights & recommendations

Skill Requirements

  • Strong business IT translator
  • Comfortable working across stakeholders located in East Coast US, India, and Germany
  • Working hours must include some overlap with US East Coast hours to support collaboration, even if the role is not fully aligned to US hours
  • Hands-on but also strategic mindset
  • Works in consulting + execution hybrid role

Must demonstrate strong soft skills, including stakeholder management, clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to translate technical topics into business-relevant recommendations

Maximum Salary (US):  128000
Minimum Salary (US):  69000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
