Technical Lead

Job Summary

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP landscapes including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and SAP HANA.
  • Perform system administration activities including client administration, user management, transport management, and system refreshes.
  • Manage SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, workload analysis, and troubleshooting of system issues.
  • Support SAP kernel upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, and S/4HANA migration activities.
  • Configure and maintain Transport Management System (TMS) and ensure smooth movement of objects across environments.
  • Work on backup, recovery, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and system replication activities.
  • Support SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP BTP administration activities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, security, and application teams to ensure system stability and availability.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support go-live, hypercare, and production support activities.

Skill Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and SAP HANA administration.
  • Experience with system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
  • Hands-on experience with TMS, client copy, user administration, background job management, and system monitoring.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems and database administration concepts.
  • Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting dumps/logs, and root-cause analysis.
  • Exposure to SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP landscape management tools.
  • Strong understanding of HA/DR concepts and system availability management.

Other Requirements

  • Experience with RISE with SAP and cloud-based SAP environments.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP administration and integration technologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP Security and GRC concepts.
  • Experience in automation, scripting, and infrastructure/cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • SAP Basis or SAP HANA certification preferred.
