Technical Lead

Job Summary

  • Lead and support SAP WM/EWM solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support activities across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Configure and support end-to-end warehouse management processes including:
    • Inbound Processing
    • Outbound Processing
    • Internal Warehouse Movements
    • Putaway Strategies
    • Picking & Packing
    • Replenishment
    • Physical Inventory
    • Cross-Docking
    • Handling Unit (HU) Management
    • Yard Management
    • Wave Management
  • Configure warehouse organizational structures, including Warehouse Number, Storage Types, Storage Sections, Activity Areas, Work Centers, and Bin Structures.
  • Design and support advanced warehouse processes such as POSC (Post Processing Oriented Storage Control), LOSC (Layout Oriented Storage Control), RF Framework (RFUI), and Warehouse Order Creation Rules (WOCR).
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
  • Support integration between EWM/WM and SAP MM, SD, PP, TM, QM, and external warehouse automation systems.
  • Manage master data migration, queue monitoring, IDOC monitoring, interface troubleshooting, and production support activities.
  • Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP and integration teams for enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and RF developments.
  • Execute SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production support activities.
  • Conduct end-user training and maintain process and configuration documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • 7+ years of hands-on SAP Warehouse Management experience with strong expertise in SAP EWM and/or SAP WM.
  • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations and support engagements.
  • Expertise in:
    • Inbound & Outbound Processing
    • Warehouse Task Management
    • Handling Unit Management
    • Batch Management
    • Physical Inventory
    • Replenishment
    • Wave Management
    • Yard Management
    • POSC/LOSC
  • Experience with Warehouse Monitor, Queue Monitoring, IDOC Monitoring, and RF Framework
  • Strong integration knowledge across MM, SD, PP, QM, and Transportation Management (TM).
  • Knowledge of warehouse automation, 3PL integrations, barcode/RF scanning solutions, and external logistics systems.
  • Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP EWM implementation project.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Skill Requirements

  • Experience with Embedded EWM and Decentralized EWM architectures.
  • Exposure to SAP TM, SAP GTS, SAP Fiori, and warehouse automation technologies.
  • Experience integrating EWM with third-party WMS, 3PL providers, conveyor systems, and automated warehouse equipment.
  • SAP EWM Certification preferred.
  • Experience in global rollout and AMS support models.
