Job Summary

1 Demonstrated expertise in analysing products based on the following: Material of construction, Processing, Functional, Assembly and Regulatory requirements
2 Experience and knowledge on adhesives
3 Experience in product prototyping using different processing methods
4 Assessment of material compliance for different regulations - REACH, ROHS, Prop. 65, TSCA
5 Expertise in failure analysis - root cause investigations for material related defects
6 Experience with testing and evaluation: mechanical, microstructural and characterization
7 Experience and knowledge on reverse engineering
8 Engage and collaborate with cross-functional team and SMEs
9 Work with stakeholders to analyze and validate requirements
10 Engage with suppliers to obtain regulatory material compliance information and to manufacture materials according to requirements
11 Manage project through status meetings, weekly reports, identifying risks and tracking.
12 Provide high level communication summaries and presentations for management 
13 Expertise with polymers and elastomers
14 Familiarity with metals and other types of materials is preferred
