Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP ILM Developer to support the BRIM Archiving Project in an offshore delivery model. The role focuses on SAP ILM development, configuration support, and execution activities, along with hands‑on involvement in data migration validation and testing to ensure compliant and accurate data archiving.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure SAP ILM solutions for data archiving, retention, and destruction.
- Support implementation of ILM policies, retention rules, and archiving objects as per project requirements.
- Work closely with functional, technical, and Basis teams to support end‑to‑end archiving execution.
- Assist in data migration activities, including data validation, reconciliation, and post‑archiving checks.
- Prepare and execute unit testing, SIT, and UAT support related to ILM and archiving processes.
- Analyze defects related to ILM and data migration and support timely resolution.
- Support archiving validation, audit checks, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, configuration details, and test evidence.
- Participate in offshore–onsite coordination and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of SAP experience with hands‑on exposure to SAP ILM development.
- Strong understanding of SAP data archiving concepts and ILM framework.
- Experience supporting data migration, reconciliation, and testing activities.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments.
- Ability to work closely with functional, Basis, and testing teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to SAP BRIM (FI‑CA / CI / CM) data models.
- Experience working on archiving, carve‑out, or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of media, utilities, or subscription‑based billing systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
