Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the architecture, engineering, and delivery of enterprise full stack and cloud applications. The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of Java 17, Spring, Angular, Play Framework, Akka Actor, and AWS, along with technical leadership, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own technical solution design, architecture, estimation, development, release, and production support across the software lifecycle.
  • Provide technical direction for scalable applications built with Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Spring Data, AngularJS, Angular, Play Framework, and Akka Actor.
  • Lead design reviews, code reviews, engineering standards, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Guide AWS implementation and operations using EC2, S3, SQS, and CloudWatch.
  • Coordinate developers, architects, QA, DevOps, product, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, quality, capacity, and delivery commitments; communicate status and escalations to stakeholders.
  • Drive Agile execution through Jira and Confluence and oversee build, source-control, and release practices using Maven or Scala build tools and Git or Bitbucket.
  • Mentor engineers, build technical capability, and promote responsible use of GitHub Copilot and continuous improvement.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Spring Data.
  • Strong experience with AngularJS, Angular, Play Framework, and Akka Actor.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, SQS, and CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency with Maven or a Scala build tool, Git or Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Practical experience using GitHub Copilot while maintaining security and code-quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, testing, DevOps, security, observability, and production support.
  • Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams, manage technical delivery, and engage senior stakeholders.
