Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
· Own and administer Incline design data for VPG, Watch, and Accessories programs.
· Ensure engineering data, BOM structures, reports, metadata, and documentation remain complete, accurate, and current.
· Establish and maintain data governance processes, naming conventions, part numbering standards, and data hygiene practices.
· Audit existing Incline datasets and remediate gaps, duplicate entries, inconsistencies, and missing documentation.
· Collaborate with HWTE teams and vendors to resolve data quality issues and close documentation gaps.
· Support AI tool development by providing domain expertise, validating outputs, and assisting with data preparation and labeling activities.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for AI tool developers requiring guidance on Incline data structures and semantics.
· Generate and publish weekly status reports covering data quality, program progress, and AI support activities.
· Identify and escalate data quality risks that may impact AI development timelines or result accuracy.
· Conduct data assessment, cleanup, and administration activities throughout the project lifecycle.
· Monitor vendor performance issues and support performance management activities where required.
· Maintain long-term data hygiene and compliance with approved engineering database and data-sharing processes.
Skill Requirements
· Strong understanding of hardware engineering documentation, including mechanical/electrical drawings, BOMs, test reports, CPK, FAI, and SPC concepts.
· Experience with engineering data administration, data governance, and large-scale data quality management.
· Ability to quickly learn and work within the Incline platform and associated engineering data models.
· Knowledge of AI/ML tools and workflows, including LLM-based tools, prompt engineering, data preparation, and AI-driven analytics.
· Data analysis and scripting skills using tools such as Python and SQL.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for identifying and resolving data anomalies.
· High attention to detail with a systematic approach to data auditing and cleanup.
· Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Proficiency in standard productivity tools (Microsoft Office and/or Apple productivity suites).
Other Requirements
· Location: Shanghai, China. (or Shenzhen)
· Time-zone flexibility to support China and India teams.
· 12-month engagement/project duration.
· Ability to work closely with HWTE, Mechanical Engineering, EPM, vendor, and AI development teams.
· Familiarity with engineering product development environments covering VPG, Watch, and Accessories programs is preferred.
· Exposure to AI/ML tooling and willingness to support emerging AI use cases.
· Ability to support documentation standardization, compliance activities, and engineering data lifecycle management.
· Strong ownership mindset and capability to operate independently in a highly cross-functional environment.
