Technical Specialist - Rest, Jira, Windchill

Job Summary

The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of technical solutions related to Jira and Atlassian suite. They will lead a team of technical experts and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Overall 5-7 years of Development, Support & maintenance experience in Atlassian suite products 
Hands-on experience in Experience in Configuration/Implementation/Support and Maintenance of Tempo which is integrated with Jira.    Experience in Java, Groovy, Linux, Script Runner, Bash scripting, Jira REST API, Jira Java API, On-Prem-zephyr cloud, SSO, Oracle DB
Add on is experience in Jira Align. 
Experience in Configuration/Implementation/Support and Maintenance of Jira
Experience in Configuration/Implementation/Support and Maintenance of Bitbucket
Experience in Configuration/Implementation/Support and Maintenance of Confluence

Willing to work in afternoon shifts IST and going beyond, weekend on call/night support, etc. based on the criticality and business urgency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals in the development and implementation of solutions using rest, jira and Atlassian suite . 
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver projects within scope and timeline.
3. Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
4. Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in rest, jira and Atlassian suite, to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in rest api development and integration.
2. Experience with configuring and customizing jira for project management and issue tracking.
3. Knowledge of Atlassian suite software and its implementation. 
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Jira or Windchill are a plus.
