Job Summary
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management projects.
- Provide technical oversight and governance across development, integrations, environments, and deployments.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore development teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Review and approve technical designs, development estimates, and implementation approaches.
- Drive technical quality, consistency, and delivery excellence across projects.
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable D365 F&SCM solutions.
- Develop and review Technical Design Documents (TDDs), Solution Architecture Documents (SADs), and Integration Design Documents.
- Define integration patterns, security architecture, deployment strategies, and extension frameworks.
- Lead technical workshops and solution design sessions with customers.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.
Development & Customization
- Lead development activities involving X++ extensions and customizations, Chain of Command (CoC), event handlers, custom services, OData services, business events, Electronic Reporting (ER), SSRS reports, and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to Microsoft's extension-first development model.
- Assist in software configuration and customization to meet business process and application requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations between D365 F&SCM and external applications.
- Architect integration design using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, REST/SOAP APIs, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Dual Write.
- Support data migration planning, strategy, execution, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Work alongside SA, Dev leads, data migration leads and functional teams to document migration requirements and solution approach.
Environment & Release Management
- Intricate knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) environments and deployment activities.
- Create CI/CD guidelines for D365 F&SCM implementation using Azure DevOps.
- Understanding deployment and release automation.
- Understanding of branching strategies and best practices and choosing the best strategy for the implementation projects.
- Understanding system performance and help team troubleshoot/resolve production issues.
- Knowledge of UDE preferred and experience in migration from LCS to Power platform.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Engage directly with customer stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide project status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, technical workshops, and steering committee meetings.
- Support project estimation, planning, and resource management.
- Manage and deliver small projects independently with minimal supervision.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Support solution demonstrations and technical workshops.
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses and proposal development.
- Contribute to estimation, architecture reviews, and solution planning.
- Provide technical leadership during discovery and envisioning phases.

Experience Requirements
- 12+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O / D365 F&SCM experience.
- Minimum 5 end-to-end D365 F&SCM implementation projects preferred.
- Experience as a technical architect on enterprise ERP implementations.
- Experience working with global customers and distributed delivery teams.
- Proven experience in architecture design, integrations, development, and deployment management.
- Experience in upgrade projects from AX 2012 to D365 F&SCM is highly desirable.
- Experience in AI enabling solutions like Copilot studio, M365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot desirable.
