Job Summary

The Technical Specialist in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) plays a critical role in the conceptualization, design, and delivery of high-quality products and sustenance solutions. This position is pivotal in ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client requirements while leveraging innovative technologies. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that drive efficiency and enhance product manufacturability, making a significant impact on the organization's overall success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect And Design Robust Dfm Solutions By Leading A Team To Develop Products And Deliver Sustenance Projects That Adhere To Defined Scope And Quality Standards.
2. Serve As A Subject Matter Expert (Sme) In Dfm Practices, Providing Technical Guidance And Innovative Solutions To Complex Design Challenges.
3. Drive Continuous Improvement By Researching And Incorporating The Latest Technologies Into Dfm Processes, Ensuring That Solutions Remain Current And Compliant With Quality Standards.
4. Facilitate Training And Development Of Team Members In Dfm Methodologies, Ensuring A Skilled Workforce Capable Of Meeting Project Demands And Mitigating Delivery Risks.
5. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Gather Detailed Specifications And Develop Tailored Solutions That Align With Client Needs And Technological Capabilities.
6. Conduct Thorough Reviews Of Project Deliverables To Ensure Alignment With Design Specifications, Quality Expectations, And Industry Standards.
7. Propose And Implement Value Creation Initiatives For Clients By Recommending And Applying Industry Best Practices In Dfm To Enhance Product Quality And Manufacturability.

Skill Requirements

1. Expert Knowledge Of Design For Manufacturability (Dfm) Principles And Methodologies.
2. Proficiency In Using Cad Software And Tools To Create And Evaluate Product Designs.
3. Strong Analytical Skills To Assess Manufacturability And Product Feasibility.
4. Excellent Communication Skills To Interact Effectively With Clients And Team Members.
5. Capability To Lead Projects And Guide Teams In A Technical Context.

Other Requirements

1. Certification In Design For Manufacturability (Dfm) Or Related Fields Is Optional But Valuable.
2. Lean Manufacturing Or Six Sigma Certification Is Recommended To Strengthen Process Improvement Efforts.
