Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
The Infrastructure Cloud Engineer role is an SRE-focused position responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and configuration management code. Key responsibilities include handling client support cases, managing an Enterprise secrets management service, and ensuring service health across various environments.
The role involves significant hands-on work with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure (70-80%), automation (10-20%), and support tickets (5%).
Core Infrastructure Work:
• AWS
• Kubernetes
• CI/CD with Argo CD and pipelines
• GitLab and GitHub (including migration efforts)
• Containers (Docker, Artifactory)
• Security reviews and audits
• Helm (nice to have, related to Kubernetes)
Skill Requirements
Top Skills Required:
• Kubernetes experience: Including usage, deployment, workload management, and writing code.
• GitLab and GitHub experience.
• Cloud-based services: AWS preferred, or other cloud-related technologies.
• IaC: Terraform experience writing and debugging.
Other Requirements
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Go
• Vault Enterprise
