Job Summary

The Technical Specialist at HCL will be responsible for overseeing the Java, Node.JS, Microservices, and Amazon Web Services components of projects. They will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions using these technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Designing and developing high-volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems
2. Leading software development activities and providing technical guidance to the team
3. Collaborating with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
4. Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
5. Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues
6. Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and enhance team skills

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in java programming language and its ecosystem
2. Experience with node.js and building applications using node.js
3. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design principles
4. Handson experience with amazon web services (aws) cloud services
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
8. Solid understanding of software development best practices

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Java, NodeJS, Microservices, or AWS would be a plus

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
