Job Summary

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Architect to design and lead secure, scalable Agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role requires deep expertise in cloud architecture, Agentic AI systems, and cloud security, with the ability to guide engineering teams and influence architectural decisions for enterprise‑grade AI platforms.

The Architect will act as the technical authority for solution design, security posture, and technology choices while working closely with customers, Google ecosystem teams, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Own end‑to‑end architecture for Agentic AI platforms and solutions deployed on GCP.
  • Design scalable, highly available, and secure architectures for AI‑driven workloads.
  • Define architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
  • Review and approve solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise and customer requirements.

Agentic AI & AI Platform Architecture

  • Architect solutions involving Agentic AI / autonomous and multi‑agent systems.
  • Design AI orchestration layers, agent workflows, tool integrations, and guardrails.
  • Ensure reliability, explainability, observability, and governance of agentic workflows.
  • Guide teams on LLM‑based systems, RAG architectures, and context management.

Cloud Security Architecture

  • Lead security‑by‑design for all cloud and AI solutions.
  • Define and enforce best practices for IAM, network security, encryption, key management, logging, and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform architecture risk reviews and drive security remediation decisions.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Leadership

  • Design and govern solutions across GCP services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, AI/ML, security).
  • Enable secure and optimized deployments of AI platforms, APIs, and cloud‑native services.
  • Drive cost optimization, performance optimization, and operational readiness.
  • Act as a technical mentor for teams working on GCP.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with customers, partners, and Google ecosystem teams as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Translate business requirements into robust technical architectures.
  • Support pre‑sales discussions, architecture workshops, and solution reviews.
  • Influence senior stakeholders with architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Core Requirements

  • 12–18+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Cloud Architecture roles.
  • Strong architecture experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven expertise in Cloud Security Architecture.
  • Hands‑on understanding of Agentic AI concepts, multi‑agent systems, and AI platforms.
  • Experience designing enterprise‑scale, cloud‑native architectures.

Technical Expertise

  • Agentic AI, autonomous agents, LLM‑based systems
  • Cloud Security: IAM, encryption, network security, logging, compliance
  • GCP services (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, AI/ML, Security)
  • Cloud‑native architectures, microservices, APIs
  • DevSecOps, observability, reliability engineering concepts

Architecture & Leadership

  • Ability to define architecture standards and guardrails
  • Strong design review and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience mentoring architects and senior engineers
  • Excellent stakeholder and customer communication skills

Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering enterprise AI or Agentic AI platforms
  • Exposure to regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, enterprise SaaS)
  • Experience working with Google Cloud partner programs
  • GCP Professional Architect / Security certifications (preferred)
Maximum Salary (US):  168000
Minimum Salary (US):  110000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
