Technical Specialist - SmartBOM, SolidWorks, 2D Drawing and Detailing

Job Summary

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for effectively managing bills of materials (BOM), utilizing SolidWorks for design tasks, and producing detailed 2D drawings. The role will involve maintaining accurate BOM information, collaborating on design projects, and creating precise technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage bills of materials (bom) effectively to support design and production processes.
2. Utilize solidworks software for various design tasks and projects.
3. Create detailed 2d drawings and perform detailing work as required.
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams on design projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
5. Ensure that bom information is up to date and accurately reflects project requirements.
6. Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to support project goals.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in bom management practices and software tools.
2. Strong knowledge and experience in using solidworks for design tasks.
3. Ability to create accurate and detailed 2d drawings.
4. Good understanding of engineering principles and technical specifications.
5. Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Effective communication and collaboration abilities within cross functional teams.

Other Requirements

1.Solidworks Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Maximum Salary (US):  136000
Minimum Salary (US):  89000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
