Reltio Lead Developer
Role Summary
The Reltio Lead Developer is a senior techno-functional expert responsible for developing, enhancing, and owning enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions on the Reltio platform. This role combines deep multi-domain MDM expertise (e.g., Customer, Contact, Supplier) with strong hands-on development and problem-solving capabilities to deliver high-quality, governed, and reliable master data solutions.
The individual will work closely with Business, Data Governance, Integration, and Analytics teams to deliver and sustain scalable data ecosystems. The role offers end-to-end ownership across the MDM lifecycle—spanning solution development, platform optimization, and ensuring consistent performance and reliability of Reltio and its integrations. In addition, the role will contribute to evolving AI-enabled and Agentic MDM capabilities (e.g., using Reltio AgentFlow), with a focus on practical adoption and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
MDM Development & Solution Design
• Lead hands-on design and development for Reltio implementations across Customer, Contact, and Supplier domains.
• Configure and implement data models, match & merge rules, survivorship logic, workflows, and DQ rules.
• Develop and optimize Reltio configurations, APIs, and integrations for performance and scalability.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for data modeling, data quality, and governance.
• Actively contribute to code/configuration reviews and technical solutioning.
Domain & Business Responsibilities
• Act as a multi-domain MDM SME across domains.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and modular MDM solutions.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and governance standards.
Integration & Data Architecture
• Design and implement integrations using APIs, batch, and event-driven patterns.
• Collaborate with Integration Architects and developers on microservices and middleware platforms.
• Enable data interoperability across enterprise systems.
• Hands-on development using integration tools (RIH/Workato/Kafka/Boomi/ADF etc.) where required.
Operational Support & Run Management
• Lead production support for Reltio and adjacent integrations.
• Troubleshoot data, integration, and platform issues; perform root cause analysis and resolution.
• Monitor data pipelines, match/merge behavior, and DQ metrics to ensure system stability.
• Manage incident, problem, and change processes in collaboration with support teams.
• Ensure SLAs/SLOs are met and continuously improve support processes and system reliability.
• Drive automation for monitoring, alerting, and operational efficiencies.
AI / Agentic AI Enablement
• Contribute to AI-driven and Agentic workflows in MDM.
• Leverage Reltio AgentFlow or similar tools for building agents and multi-agent orchestration.
Data Governance & Data Quality
• Implement enterprise data standards and governance frameworks.
• Configure and maintain DQ rules and remediation workflows.
Analytics & Data Platform Enablement
• Enable integration with Snowflake and analytics platforms.
• Support downstream analytics use cases.
Leadership & Capability Building
• Build Reltio capability within the Organization and mentor team members.
• Create reusable assets and accelerators.
Client-Facing Responsibilities / Exposure
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
• Translate technical concepts into business insights.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and delivery ownership.
Required Skills & Experience
MDM & Reltio
• 7–10 years’ experience with strong hands-on development background in MDM.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Reltio implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in configuration, APIs, data modeling, match/merge, survivorship, and workflows.
Domain Expertise
• Experience in Customer, Contact, and Supplier domains.
Integration & Technical Skills
• Strong API, batch, and event-driven integration development experience.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Hands-on experience with integration platforms like RIH (Workato), Kafka, MuleSoft, ADF, etc.
Operational Support
• Proven experience in production support for MDM and integration platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience in monitoring, incident management, and SLA-driven support environments.
AI & Data Platforms
• Understanding of AI / Agentic AI concepts.
• Snowflake experience is a plus.
Soft Skills
• Strong stakeholder communication and consulting mindset.
• Ability to work hands-on while guiding teams.
• Collaborative, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
