Job Summary

Role Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead – SAP Vistex to lead the design, build, enhancements, and support of pricing and incentive solutions across SAP SD and Vistex. This role will own end-to-end delivery for complex pricing scenarios such as rebates, chargebacks/billbacks, pricing agreements, accruals and settlement, while coordinating with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and ABAP/technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions

1) Solution Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end ownership of SAP Vistex workstream: requirements, fit-gap, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and translate needs into functional/technical deliverables (solution design, specs, estimates, plans).
  • Drive governance: documentation, change control, risk/issues, and stakeholder communication.

2) SAP Vistex Configuration & Functional-Technical Ownership

  • Design/configure and support Vistex pricing processes including (based on project scope):
    • Rebates & Agreements, Chargebacks/Paybacks, Billbacks, pricing agreements, accruals, claims processing, settlement & reconciliation.
  • Own pricing constructs: pricing conditions/procedures, access sequences, scales, formulas, agreement lifecycle and settlement calendars.

3) Integration Across SAP Landscape

  • Ensure seamless integration with:
    • SAP SD (Pricing, Billing), SAP FI (GL postings, accruals, settlements), and SAP MM (vendor rebates/purchasing where applicable).
  • Support/interface designs: IDoc/RFC/BAPI/OData/API integrations; coordinate with middleware teams as needed.

4) Technical Development Oversight (Lead Responsibilities)

  • Provide technical direction for enhancements and custom development: RICEF objects, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, data loads/migrations.
  • Review technical designs, enforce coding standards, lead code reviews, ensure performance and stability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues (pricing/vistex/rebates/chargebacks), perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes.

5) Testing, Cutover & Support Excellence

  • Plan and execute FUT/UT, support SIT, lead UAT support, cutover readiness, and go-live.
  • Support incident and request management (e.g., via service desk/SolMan if used), ensure SLA adherence and continuous improvements.

3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
