Job Summary

Senior Power BI Developer / Analyst Enterprise S/4HANA Digital Transformation Program Position Title: Senior Power BI Developer Program: Enterprise Digital Transformation — S/4HANA Implementation Location: Hybrid / Remote Duration: 12–18 months (with extension based on rollout timeline) Reports To: Data Architect/Senior Data Architect 1. Role Context We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer/Analyst with 7–10 years of hands-on experience to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-level BI solutions. The role includes end-to-end BI ownership, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making. Experience with ETL integrations from SAP BODS to Power BI is essential. 2. Key Responsibilities Data Migration Design & Execution Architect, design, and develop complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets aligned with business objectives. Lead the end-to-end BI lifecycle: requirements gathering, data modeling, development, testing, and deployment. Design and optimize star/snowflake schema data models and semantic layers in Power BI. Write advanced DAX measures and calculated columns for complex KPIs, time intelligence, and aggregations. Develop and maintain Power BI dataflows, paginated reports, and Power BI Embedded solutions. Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Power Query (M language) and integrate with Azure Data Factory or SSIS. 3. Required Skills Technical Skills: 7–10 years of professional experience with Power BI development and data analytics. Expert-level proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) advanced time intelligence, CALCULATE, iterators, and variables. Deep expertise in Power Query / M language for data transformation and cleansing. Strong data modeling skills: star schema, snowflake schema, relationships, calculated tables. Hands-on experience with Power BI Service: workspaces, apps, deployment pipelines, dataflows, and gateways. Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL or ANSI SQL) for querying relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, etc.). Experience integrating Power BI with Azure services: Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Premium / Premium Per User (PPU) capacity management. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills — ability to translate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 4. 2. To support as an SME
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
