AIS Integration Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AIS (Azure Integration Services) Integration Developer to drive the design and delivery of enterprise-grade integration solutions. This role is responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations across cloud and hybrid environments using Microsoft Azure technologies.
This role requires a deep understanding of integration patterns, cloud architecture, and hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services.
Essential Functions
- Design and implement integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid and Event Hub.
- Define and apply enterprise integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, messaging, hybrid integration).
- Architect solutions for scalability, resiliency, and high availability across cloud and on-premises systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integration architectures that meet business and technical needs.
- Develop and maintain integration workflows, APIs, and connectors to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure services and integration technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions. Develop POCs and consensus on real-time integration experience.
- Document integration architectures, designs, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Design, develop, and deploy both cloud and on-premises integration solutions as part of Axcelis Azure DevOps, Logic Apps integration, and development services.
- Evaluate the integration needs for hybrid Integration, focusing on linking on-premises systems with cloud services. Identify the scalability requirements and utilize Azure services to address them, including serverless computing, reliable messaging, and Azure API Management.
- Leverage Azure Event Hub and Event Grid capabilities for scalable ingesting and high volume of event processing, event routing and action triggers.

- Proven experience as an Integration Architect, with a focus on Azure Integration Services.
- Strong understanding of Cloud architecture (Azure-first), Enterprise integration patterns, and API lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, and other Azure services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other web services technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Developer.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of security best practices for integration solutions, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
Familiarity with other integration platforms, such as Biztalk, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato
Key Responsibilities
2. To support as an SME
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
